Keith Williams
A native of the British territory of Bermuda, Keith ventured to Michigan to complete undergraduate and graduate work at Michigan State University (MSU). He fondly remembers his formative years on the island, and recalls with pride an early leadership role of squad leader held during military service in the Berkeley Cadet Corps, Bermuda.
He began his professional career at MSU as an assistant professor of French. During the course of his career, he served in positions of increasing responsibility at Michigan State University and at the University of Massachusetts. He directed the MSU Upward Bound Program, a competitively funded federal academic program for college bound poverty youth, and went on to direct the university’s Academic Orientation Programs. Subsequently, he held the positions of Associate Director, and Executive Director of the MSU Alumni Association. At the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, he served as Associate Vice Chancellor, where he was in charge of University Advancement and University Relations.
Keith also brings extensive international experience having traveled worldwide and speaks several languages.
He has traveled throughout the United States and Canada, through Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, and Japan. He has visited Australia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Kenya, Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, and several islands in the Caribbean and French Polynesia.
Keith taught intensive French language and French literature courses at Michigan State University. He possesses a near native command of the language. In pursuit of his great interest in language learning, he has become fluent in Italian and Spanish. In addition he has conversational competence in Portuguese, German, Mandarin, Japanese, and Russian.

Current Activity Keith is enjoying life with his wife Nicole, and their three children, Jonathan, Mckenzie, and Brooklyn. He continues to be active in the community serving on several local boards of directors. He represents Oneida Church mentoring a young student in the Grand Ledge School System.
He is passionate about advancing the effectiveness of leaders and their teams.
